Recently the school advertised a Big Event for our school. Last week it was scheduled for Tuesday, but unfortunately it had to be rescheduled to Thursday due to the weather. After the wait all of the students were very excited to see what was going to happen on this day. At orientation, Mr. Fritzky explained that we would be doing a new program to promote anti-bullying. This program will be worked into the school schedule and will be held once a week. For this program students will be split into small groups. To kick off the start of this new program, the big event happened on Thursday. When you went outside you were able to play games and there was music. There are many games that are fun such as the one where you try to hit a marshmallow with a broom into your partner's cup. There were many other fun mini games that students played. Then we got to have lunch outside. After this we were able to make posters and take a nice walk around the school field. The posters that we made or to promote anti-bullying. Before we were dismissed to homeroom we were able to talk about bullying and have ice pops. The Big Event was a fun filled day to help promote the four rules of Byram schools. I hope everyone enjoyed the big event and had fun!
