Wii U is Canceled! by Sara

If you’re a fan of nintendo or of video games in general, you’ll want to hear this news; the Wii U is being canceled.  Some of you, or even most of you reading this are asking “What is the Wii U?”  and that was exactly the problem.  No one knows what the Wii U is so no one buys it.  What actually is the Wii U?  The Wii U is a gaming console, the console is the same shape as the original Wii.  The controller is a Wii U GamePad it’s a white box with a touch screen in the center.  The controller also has buttons and directional knobs just like on normal gaming controllers.  I do not own a Wii U but I have the original Wii, the Wii U had so many commercials on that I’m surprised more people didn’t buy it.

The problem was the Wii was released in 2006 and it sold rapidly and totaled over 100 million times.  With the Wii U falling behind with only selling over 13 million and they were released in 2012.  I believe the issue is that the original Wii was a hit, and Nintendo wanted the Wii U to be the exact same way but it didn’t work out that way.  The Wii U isn’t living up to Nintendo's expectations.
