Cooper-Hewitts Museum by Tia

A little under a year ago, I learned about the Cooper-Hewitts’ of New Jersey. You may have heard of the Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum in Manhattan, but they did much more than that. Now the house they lived in (Ridgewood Manor) is a historical park where visitors come in daily. From presidential candidates to the creation of a free college, they’ve done it all. Inside the home have been famous presidents and parties to help with wars. If you want to go to the historic manor of a great American family, they have an annual Fourth of July reenactment. Even if you aren’t into history, the gardens there are fun to walk through any time of the season.
