    My mom has collected many Christmas decorations over many years and that is her passion and her hobby. She mostly collects blow molds for outdoor decorations and mostly snowmen. The other things she collects in indoor decorations like light up trees and scenes. The main thing my Mom collects are nutcrackers. My mom since i was born has collected Christmas items from blow molds to collectables. 
    My mom loves blow molds and has some new ones and some classic models. My mom has collected blow molds for 11 years and the collection hasn’t gotten any smaller since then. Besides snowmen we have penguins, soldiers, gingerbread men, and even blow molds for other holidays. There is a whole section of our basement dedicated to storing maybe over 50 blow molds and it is packed. I don’t think my mom will be done collecting snowmen any time soon.
    Light up trees isn't one of my mother's biggest collections but I like them the most. They have water in them and then glitter and I just like to look at them for a while. My mom also has boxes with Christmas scenes in them that also have glitter. Some of the scenes have snowmen in them and others have gingerbread and Santa in them. Just because my mom doesn't have the biggest collection of trees and boxes of glitter doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy collecting them just as much as the blow molds. 
    My mother's nutcracker collection has existed for as long as I can remember. My mom owns nutcrackers of shapes and sizes, she even owns a six foot tall nutcracker. Every nutcracker is different in its own special way, we have bakers, lumberjacks, soldiers, drummers, skiers, Santas, and even non human ones. her collection keeps growing each year and her nutcrackers are her most prized possessions; her nutcrackers are her favorite thing. I hope my mom's nutcracker collection never stops growing because it makes me happy each year.
    My mother's holiday collections and Christmas spirit will never stop growing. Christmas is my mom's passion and will always be her passion. My mom's blow mold collection could be put in a whole museum. It is so big. the trees and nutcrackers will never not be put out for the holidays and won't ever be smaller than it is today. Even though my father can't stand the beacon of light the house makes around Christmas my mother will never lose the spirit in the holidays.
