BEST POKEMON IN EACH GENERATION

Gen 1: Alakazam

 

Charizard & Pikachu always get the spotlight as the most popular Pokemon in Gen 1, but you can't deny this guy’s coolness. For one, it is a psychic type, one of my favorite types. And it has an IQ of freaking 5,000. I find that really cool.

Gen 2: Crobat

A drip purple bat with 4 wings.

Gen 3: Rayquaza

Could anyone else have taken this spot? No. Honestly not.

It is a giant sky snake that can stop the battle between the personifications of the land and sea. It can mega evolve by chowing down on METEORITES. AND its shiny is one of the BEST SHINIES IN EXISTENCE.

Gen 4: Electivire

I understand that there’s a lot of controversy about the Gen 4 cross-gen evolutions, but I think we can all agree that this guy is one of the best ones in Sinnoh. 

Gen 5: Zekrom

Is this guy:

Cool? Yup

Really cool? Yuppers

Super duper DUPER cool? You better believe it.

Gen 6: Greninja

Who else could have taken this spot? It is already insanely cool, but then it got an OP second form AND one of the best shinies in EXISTENCE- similar to Rayquaza. And similarly to Rayquaza, I really like it.

Gen 7: Guzzlord

I know this guy is disliked by a lot of people. AND I HAVE NO CLUE WHY. How is this thing not cool? It is an absolute BEAST- and an ultra one at that!

…Haha? Joke? Are those allowed?

Gen 8: Zacian

This fella is one of the only fairy-types that I like. It has a literal sword in its mouth, and it’s blue, one of my favorite colors, and has a CROWN. To me, this screams cool. Except for its weird human-like legs. Those are just creepy.

Gen 9: Gholdengo

This thing is the topic of a lot of controversy- you love it or hate it. And I count myself among the former. It’s design is very cool, and it has I N S A N E battle strength. AND its signature move, Make It Rain, it is very strong.
