The Chicken Nugget - by 8th grader Mairead S

Have you ever bit into the delightful masterpiece also known as a “chicken nugget”? These amazing snacks are good for any time of the day (yes, even breakfast). We love chicken nuggets. But have you ever given much thought into just what chicken nugget is the best? I’m sure deep down, in the darkest corners of your noggin, you know just what chicken nugget shape you like. This article will bring those thoughts to life.

#6- The McDonalds Nugget

This has a category of its own sheerly for being one of the most disgusting foods out there. It is disgusting. Simply biting into one of these atrocities makes me nauseous and wanting to spit it out immediately. Why must they be so disgusting? These chicken nuggets are a crime against humanity. Are they even chicken? The world may never know.

#5- The Chicken Nugget

Many steps up from the McDonald’s nugget, this nugget is delicious, yet basic. Its simplicity simply could not compete with the next few chicken nugget types. However, I love a good chicken nugget.

#4- The Chicken Oval

If you’ve ever purchased a bag of nuggets, you’ll likely see this delicacy. It is basically a chicken nugget, just a little bit longer. Eating this nugget enables you to consume more chicken nugget, despite only eating one chicken nugget. The only reason this placed higher than the nugget is because it is bigger.

#3- The Chicken Tender

If you’ve ever had a chicken tender, you’ll know exactly why this is number three. It is much crispier and more delicious than any factory made nugget, plus it is bigger. With a crispy outside and a soft chicken inside, dipped in ketchup, this is a meal you simply cannot beat.

#2- The Spherical Nugget (AKA The Chicken Wing)

The chicken wing is simply fantastic. Eating one of these allows you to enjoy a chicken nugget in a 3D experience. Eating an ordinary chicken nugget is fine enough, but enjoying it in a spherical sensation is simply fantastic. I one hundred percent recommend this wing to everyone.

#1- The Dino Nugget

Any experienced nugget eater knows just why this nugget places on top. The dino nugget is simply too iconic to be any place below number one. Enjoy a dino nugget, and you will be transported to another world, one with fantastic chicken nuggets, along with fantastic sauces to dip them in, and a fantastic absence of McDonald’s Nuggets.
