Candy Rankings by 6th grader Mairead
Everyone loves candy. There is no question about it. But everyone has different preferences about which candy they prefer. Some like Twix the best, some prefer M&Ms or Sour Patch Kids, the list goes on and on. I know a few people who would rate Twizzlers a 0/10 (crazy people). So, I’m going to share my candy preferences and which candies I like the best.
Twix
9/10
Twix is a basic yet delicious candy. It has caramel, wafer, and chocolate, one of the best combinations. However, what’s the difference between left and right Twix?
None. Silly Twix.
Skittles
8/10
Skittles are, in a word, delicious. They have a nice variety of flavors in each (original flavored) bag. However, if you eat too many, your mouth feels funny.
And when I say too many, I mean 10 or so. Plus, the only good Skittles flavors are the basic flavors. Trust me, I’ve tried the others.
Kit-Kat
10/10
THE PERFECT CANDY. Just eat it properly, by breaking it apart.
M&M
9/10
M&Ms are delicious, plus they don’t melt! They also have a huge variety of flavors that actually taste good. My only issue is that the chocolate tastes somewhat different from the normal milk chocolate that you often eat.
Sour Patch Kids
8/10
Good for the most part, however, they are almost always either too sour or too sweet. Plus they aren’t really what I would eat if I could choose any candy.
Twizzlers
7/10
They are pretty good. They do have a bit of a dull flavor, and if you eat more than 4 or so you get nauseous. But in general, I like them.
Reese's Peanut Butter Cup
9.5/10
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are really good. Sometimes the peanut butter sticks to the top of my mouth and it takes a while to get off. I would eat a whole bucket of these though, if I could.
Hershey’s
10/10
ALSO THE PERFECT CANDY. How can anyone dislike a good, basic Hershey's bar? While it’s not as fancy as the other chocolate bars, who needs these fancy-shmancy expensive chocolates when you can have the one dollar Hershey bar, and just as good?
In conclusion, candies are different in many ways, and people like them differently. I was sharing just a few of my candy preferences. I hope you liked this article!
