Frost Valley by Shannon Y

    There are many fun activities that you can do at Frost Valley. Frost Valley is a 6th-grade field trip. You sleep over there for two nights, and you are there for three days. The most popular activity was the cable bridge hike. On that hike, you have to cross over a big river on a cable with a net under you in case you fall. You get to pick who you are in a cabin with and even who you sit on the bus with. There were different varieties of food in case you are picky. I asked a few kids in my grade about what their favorite part was, and if they liked the food there. Here were some of the responses.

    Natalia O, said that her favorite part was “Catching the salamanders because you got to pet them and hold them." For the bus ride, she said, “Yes, because I got to sit next to my friends and talk to them.”

    Jackson H said, “My favorite part of Frost Valley was when we got to walk the cable bridge across the big river because it was kind of scary and something that I'll probably never forget.” About the food he said “I did because the food was mostly fresh and they gave us a variety of foods.

    Giovanna C, said that her favorite part was “ Getting to be in cabins with my friends because it bonded me with them more.” For the bus ride, she said, “ Yes, because it was a fun experience to be with my classmates.”

    Cora Z said, “ My favorite part about Frost Valley was the pond activity. This was my favorite part because I got to catch a ton of different animals and insects and study them.” She said, “ I liked the food! It exceeded my expectations. It was very good. My favorite meal was the pizza.”

    For myself, “My favorite part was the cable bridge hike. It was my favorite part about the whole trip because I got to cross over a large river on a cable. I also was able to take a bunch of nice and cool photos.”

As you can see, most of the kids who went to Frost Valley, including myself, enjoyed the cable bridge hike. Most of the kids would like to go back to Frost Valley next year.
